Introducing Social City

Social City is a Facebook game that would enable you to build and run your own city. I started playing this virtual city game by Playdom last March 25, 2010 and I must say that it is entertaining and I am really enjoying it. It is fun building virtual homes, roads, parking areas, leisure spots and factories.

Making Money in Social City
In order to have city coins, you need to build some factories. After construction, you then have to choose a contract. Each contract has a completion time -- 5 min, 15 min, 20 min, 1hr, 2hrs and 30 min, 4hrs, 1 day, etc. You can only earn coins once you have completed a contract. You can also earn coins by helping your Social City friends.

You can have City Bucks each time you level up. You can also purchase some through PayPal or your credit card.

Social City Population
To grow your city's population, you have to build homes. Each home has a corresponding XP and population count. Growing your population is important especially if you want to construct another factory. Gaining XP is crucial in leveling up and unlocking other cool items.

Building Leisure Spots
Building leisure spots won't give you any coins but it is imperative that you have these items in order to keep your people happy. You cannot grow your population without leisure spots. Each item has a corresponding number of people that it can accommodate. The more leisure spots you build, the more citizens you can move in and the more you can grow your population.
